Our Georgia "Peach" Vacation

Anthony lovingly calls Georgia the "Georgia Peach", hence the title of this entry. What can I say...we had a wonderful vacation. It was truly sad to come home. We were able to visit my dear friend Kate (Huck) Marschke. We got to meet her beautiful daughter and Alberto's future girlfriend, Lauren. It was such fun to see the little ones together. They're neck & neck in size and full of personality. We stayed at their home for a few days, went to the Georgia Aquarium and just visited.

We then drove from Norcross to Tybee Island and stayed there for 3 nights. We had a blast playing in the ocean waves. Anthony LOVED the ocean and the sand. Alberto was still a bit apprehensive about the waves crashing but he really enjoyed the feel of sand squishing through his tiny fingers:) It was mid 80's and very humid while there so perfect for relaxing at the beach. We stayed in a cute little beach house about 2 blocks from the beach we went to. We walked the first afternoon with the boys and all our "stuff" but since we had 2 little ones, beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. to lug we opted to drive the rest of the time.

We made many meals at our house and ate out a couple of times. It was really ideal except that Alberto got sick Monday, Anthony sick on Tuesday, me on Wednesday all day and then Terry starting Wednesday night. I guess we're like dominoes.

All I can say is...take vacations! They are what makes working all week worth it.
