Things to Remember

I have been derelict in taking pictures the last couple of weeks. Frankly I've just forgotten. The boys have done some funny, cute and silly things and they're only in my mind. I will try my best to paint a picture for you.
1) We have a beautiful landscaped area in our back yard that unfortunately is getting rather "weedy". I offered the boys 5 cents for every weed they pull (roots must accompany it). They were home with Terry yesterday and each one had their own sand bucket to gather their weeds in. Of course, their buckets were waiting for me when I got home. Daddy helped them count and now I owe Anthony $2.50 and Albi $0.50. Albi pulled some leaves off my hostas so they didn't count. Daddy told him those weren't weeds and he said "but you told me to pull there". He said "no I didn't, I told you IN THE ROCKS". Oh well, those hostas are hardy, they'll survive. They each wear their gardening gloves and look so adorable.
2) last night at t-ball the coaches decided to have each player "try" to hit a pitched ball. They would pitch 3 balls to them and then go back to the tee if they didn't hit. I dreaded this as Anthony is just so flighty. He doesn't always hit it off the tee but...he hit the 1st ball pitched to him! I missed it and boy did I feel like a heel. Albi was messing around and I missed it. I guess it was a pretty good hit too. He was a bit shocked and didn't even run right away.
3) at t-ball, Terry usually is the 3rd base coach to encourage the kids from 2nd to run toward him and of course from 3rd to run HOME. Last night Albi wanted to sit by him so he promptly packed up his lawn chair, popcorn, drink and plopped down next to Daddy. It would have been a Kodak moment had I been thinking.
4) we were in IA this past weekend and visited my friend Annette and family on Sunday night. She has a 4yr old, Ayden and he & Albi are about the same size. They were fast friends. There were several times through out the night that Ayden would drive Albi around the yard in his big sisters, pink & blue Jeep. I think they were hunting for chicks. Two blondies with blue eyes, adorable! I had a margarita that night and when I finished it, Albi wanted my glass. It was an actual margarita glass and I poured his yellow, lemonade into it. Aaron (Annette's husband) looks at me with astonishment and asks "what is he drinking?" as Albi stumbles around the yard with it.
Those little guys keep us hopping and laughing so I'm sure there are many more stories I can't remember right now.
