I have to start out by saying Anthony's 4th Birthday party at "Aunt Erin and Uncle Troy's house" was fabulous! We couldn't have asked for more. The weather was perfect and after a gray, depressing Friday... Saturday was a sight for sore eyes. The party would not have happened if it weren't for Erin graciously offering to host it at her house. My mom of course helped with a lot before we got there by picking up some of the drinks, food and even the pinata. The kids all seemed to get along and really had fun running around together. We had bubble blowers, water balloon fight (thanks to Paula & Jake), a sprinkler, and a water slide. I can't remember who, but someone thought to put the hose on the big slide on the playground equipment. The kids flew off that thing about 6 feet, giggling all the way down!
The biggest surprise and GIFT we received that day was Uncle Ito! My brother Royal who lives in Colorado surprised us by flying into town for Anthony's Birthday. I couldn't believe it when he walked in the house. Anthony ran up to him and gave him a huge hug and said "oh Uncle Ito, thank you for coming". He can be very sweet some times. I have said many times, I'm never surprised but this time I was. Thanks so much to Ito for making this day even more special. We love you!
Of course the party was lots of fun for Anthony. He loved meeting new friends and seeing old ones like Levi & Benjamin and Kylie, Kendall & Kalyn. It was wonderful for me to see so many friends at the same time. I wish I could have sat down and visited with each one for an hour but at least we did get to chat a little. I will be sure to post pictures as soon as I have a chance to download them. Now we're busy planning Anthony's other party. We're having a couple of daycare friends and neighborhood friends over for a party on Wednesday night. Gotta run!!
