Your Royal Highness

Last night at dinner we started talking like proper Englishmen and women. I think it started because Anthony put his napkin on his lap and said "Mommy does it". We explained it was "proper" to do that. We didn't know why though. If anyone knows how that started, let me know.
We shared many giggles as we talked about "sire this or prince that". I would say something like, "your royal prince, you must eat your meatballs" and he would say "thank you Queen, I shall eat my meatballs". Then as is typical at our dinners, Prince Alberto had to go to the bathroom for a BM. Whilst in there, I said "the King must be wiping the Prince's butt". To that Anthony replied, "Queen, that is not proper to discuss at the dinner table". Oh the laughs we had about that.
The boys made the most beautiful Native American headdresses at daycare yesterday. I will most certainly have to bribe them so I can get a picture. They are really cool! They learned all about Native Americans in preparation for Thanksgiving. I am so thankful they are at a wonderful daycare.

I believe that the napking on the lap was to keep the ladies' and gentlemen's skirts and pants free of crumbs and to provide a place to wipe your hands discretly. I believe it was also not considered taboo to put your napkin in the neck of you shirt if you were eating soup to keep your shirt free from dribbles.
