40th Birthday & Big Dick

My husband, the cowboy.
This is Albi about 5 minutes after we left Grandma's.

No- I'm not talking dirty, Big Dick was the name of the bus we rode last weekend. Terry's childhood friend Jon turned 40 and his wife Tanya threw him a surprise party. She rented a party bus to drive us around and bar hop.
We were lucky that Grandma Bonnie could watch the boys overnight. They had their first sleepover without us at Grandma's and had a wonderful time. We could relax & enjoy ourselves too, knowing they were well taken care of.
We really did have fun. The first bar was somewhat of a "hick" bar or maybe a Harley bar, no-no-no it was a country bar. Yeah, that's it. There were only a few people with missing teeth, and thankfully none of them were in our party. They did have a mechanical bull there and from the first moment Terry laid eyes on it, I knew what he was thinking. He sat back, surveyed the competition and then of course had to jump on. His competitive streak got the best of him, again.
After we left that bar, we headed to downtown St. Cloud and joined all the college kids at the Red Carpet. My youth passed before my eyes as we were trampled and groped in the mosh pit they called a bar. There was a band that night called Hair Ball that played 80's cover music, HEAVY metal. They were good and apparently we weren't the only ones in St. Cloud who thought so. It was amazing the amount of people they could cram into that bar. Instead of feeling old, we felt energized. We even ventured up to the upstairs bar and hip hopped the night away. Now that's MY kind of music.
