In Remembrance of 9/11/01
I have to start out by saying it's still so sad when I think of 9/11. Like everyone (probably) I remember that day so clearly. My friend Kate was in town from Georgia and we left work early and went to my townhouse. Terry came over when he finished work. We were all so somber & quiet--couldn't quite grasp what had happened. I still feel so much sympathy for those who lost husbands, wives, mommy's & daddy's and friends. What a tragedy. My heart goes out to the one's who were left behind.

That was such a sad, confusing time. I was so happy that though I was on the road, at least I was near loved ones. I just remember watching the footage of the towers collapsing over...and over...and over again! Your friendship and hospitality was the saving grace of that trip. Remember having to go to target because I only had work clothes and was "stuck" an extra 3-4 days??? That was a true hardship...shopping. :)
