Night Preschool

I do have one picture of Anthony from last night. It was his first night by himself at preschool. He looked so cute with his Speed Racer backpack on. It was harder on me than him to leave him. He told me "Percy, I won't cry". I said "well that's good". I've had lots of questions about night preschool. He has it from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Monday and Wednesday nights. It is through our county and has been available for 5-6 years. I hate to not see him those 2 nights but we had no way of getting him back & forth to a day time preschool. Our other option was to switch him to a daycare/preschool combined. Frankly, that was going to be very difficult to afford at $250 more per month than what we pay now. I have changed my hours on Mondays & Wednesdays so I can spend an extra hour & a half with him before he goes. The challenge will be getting him to eat dinner before he goes but we did okay last night and he still had a peanut butter sandwich when he came home. I am very open to the idea that if this doesn't work out we'll have to switch him to something different. I'm sure this evening preschool was designed for parents like us who could not leave work during the day to transport the kids. By the way, he LOVED it last night. He kept saying it was very fun!
