This week I had a rare day off in the middle of the week with the boys. Our daycare was closed on Monday & Tuesday so Terry took Monday off and I took Tuesday. I have a good friend who also happens to live 2 doors down. Nikki has 2 little boys also so we manage to get together about once a week. We get to relax (a little) while the boys run around like crazy. Since I knew I'd be off we decided to spend the day together, us girls and our 4 little guys. We took a drive to Lake Calhoun and walked a bit and played a lot. We had a great time. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was sunny, a little breezy and mid 70's. There is a big, unique playground for the kids. They all had sandy tootsies when we left and Mommy did too. As is usual these days, Anthony refuses to "pose" or even smile for a picture so this is the best I could manage. It was truly a perfect way to spend the day. I'm so happy to have met Nikki and become friends.
