Songs

I had to share because it's a funny story. Every night our ritual is to read to Anthony in our bed and then listen to a few songs on Mommy's iPod. He tends to like the same songs over and over. We listen to Andy Gibb, Bon Jovi & Jennifer Nettles, Bee Gees a lot. Terry says I am corrupting him. he he He identifies the songs by their pictures on the iPod with the exception of Andy Gibb who (of course) he just KNOWS. He has great taste. What can I say? Anyway, last night Anthony requests "the guy with the black hair and pink shirt". I'm thinking, who in the hell is that? I scroll through the album covers and come to Ozzy Osbourne and he exclaims "that one". It was "Crazy Train". I asked, "Does Daddy play this one for you?". He said, "sometimes". I said, "I have to have a talk with Daddy". I then played it for him. It's a great song but not exactly soothing. I brought it up to Terry this morning and he said, he played it once and now Anthony likes it. He has subsequently told him, it's not really a bed time song but we can play it during the day.
Alberto also LOVES the iPod although he has been known to drag the speaker system (that I hook the iPod up to) around by the iPod. I just cringe when he does that and quickly snatch it out of him hands. He just always says "song song song" when he wants us to play it. He would rather run it himself though than have us pick for him. He's very independent and strong willed. Must have gotten that from Terry??
