Adventures in Minong, WI

It seems like so long since I updated the blog. It's not that I couldn't add text, it's the pictures that are more of a challenge. I have no USB cable, well I can't find it anyway so I have to put everything on a CD and then I can add to the blog. That's easier said than done because that would entail stopping at Costco to get the CD made. I digress, but anyway--- pictures will follow, probably next week. We are finally recovering from our wonderful, fun filled trip to see our friends Ken & Claire. They have a cabin in Minong, WI and it's been about 2 years since we've been there. We only remember that Anthony was little but was already walking. He's almost 4 now! I shouldn't say we are "recovering", that's a little misleading. Alberto did get sick and has been sick all week but I doubt it had anything to do with Minong. He had a high temp starting Sunday and still had it through Wednesday. Terry took him to the Dr. and they did a strep test which has now come back negative. He's seems to be improving, thank goodness. The only problem is that he's wasting away (as Terry put it). At his 1 year check-up he was 27 lbs, 8 oz and now at this Dr. appointment he was only 22 lbs and that was with clothes on. He is very active but also not a great eater anymore. Sorry, back to Minong.
