The Minong Saga continues...

as the day grew into night and the air took on a cool, crispness us adults put the little guys to bed and headed outside to sit by the fire. Ken had graciously agreed to read to Anthony on Saturday giving Auntie Claire a break. Auntie Claire read to Anthony Friday night and then tried to fool him into sleeping. It didn't work:( Mama had to pull out the "we're going to bed, I'm not talking to you anymore" card. Anyway, back to the fire. We drank beer and wine and as Terry would say "talked smart". It was fun & refreshing to catch up with old friends. About 11:30pm Claire had the brilliant idea to go into town to one of the local bars. I offered to stay back, because we had children sleeping in the house. Terry went with Ken & Claire and as I'm told, had a jolly old time. Claire & Terry revived their karaoke careers, both singing multiple songs to the crowd's delight. When Terry hit the stage for "Hotel California" the crowd rushed the stage to dance. He also gave an energetic performance of "Ain't Going Down 'till the Sun Comes Up". He tried to live like the song but since he had 2 early risers back at the cabin, it wasn't happening. I did try to help him a little by getting up with Albi at 5:30am! Those boys won't sleep in to save our souls.
