Gotta Love Sand in Minong

Okay I'm back. We arrived in Minong about 7pm Friday night and basically unloaded, helped prepare the kabobs for grilling, ate a late dinner and went to bed. Anthony & Alberto were excited to play for a while on the top bunk of the bunk beds. They thought that was super cool! We had a nice breakfast Saturday morning. Claire always does a big, hot breakfast and they're always YUMMY. After that, we loaded up for a pontoon ride with Ken. Alberto was sleepy by then so Auntie Claire stayed back and did things around the cabin while Albi slept. Thanks Claire! The rest of us, plus Ken's friend Paul went for a cruise to "Sand Island". As the name implies, it is an island with lots and lots of sand. It's a 3 year old's dream! Anthony played in the water for a while and then discovered the beauty of sand. He ran down the sand hill, he stumbled down the sand hill, he rolled down the sand hill. He had sand in crevices we didn't know he had. He loved every minute of it! The only drawback is that I had to scrub his head for quite a while to get all the sand out. The water there is clear and beautiful, very refreshing.
